The following spectra (CDCl3, 300 MHz) corresponds to the product C (C16H18O2) obtained by reaction of a compound of molecular formula C9H10O with a Grignard compound A: Determine the structures of A, B and C. Additional notes:
a) Compound C features a very broad band around 3300 cm-1 in the IR spectrum;
b) The signal at 1.85 ppm in the 1H NMR spectrum disappears upon addition of D2O.
